“I can’t believe I’m about to do this.”
My eyes darted from side to side, checking the area for any signs of people. There weren’t too many cars in sight and all the windows were closed tight as far away as I could see. Still, I couldn’t shake that feeling of being watched.
It was a warm night out, so it wasn’t like anyone would be cold or anything if they decided to walk by my place on their way home. That didn’t stop me from still worrying though. My heart raced with anticipation at what lay ahead of me;
